If you would like to learn how to make a quilt that is not currently on our class schedule, please call us and we will do our best to get it on the schedule.

General Sewing Supply List is available at the Quilting Barn upon payment for class.
There is a maximum of 8 for each class unless stated otherwise.
It is our policy to never cancel a scheduled class. One student is as important to us as a classroom full of students!
Sewing Machine - Your machine must be in good working order and you must be familiar with how your machine operates. You are welcome to use one of our machines. Reservations are available at time of class registration.

Hand Classes - Supply list will be given to you upon payment for the class. You will receive a 15% discount off of all fabric, book or pattern required for the class.

This is a block of the month with a twist! The club will run 12 months, starting May 16, 2009. The first month, you will pay $5.00 (one-time fee) for a packet of Thangles and you will also pay $1.00 for the fabric and pattern for the first block. You are to make your block by the next month's class. If you do have your block completed by the next class, you will get the next block fabric and pattern for $1.00. This continues until you have 12 blocks. If for some reason you are not able to get your block completed by the next month, you can pay $5.00 to start again. Our fabrics are black & white with stunning accent fabrics.

First Machine Quilt (Log Cabin)
Skill level - Beginner
If you would love to make a quilt, but you're afraid that you can't do it, this is the class for you. Libby will teach you basic skills such as how to use rotary cutters and rulers, how to "read" a pattern, etc. When you are finished with this class, you will have a completed quilt "sandwich" (quilt top, batting, and backing).
*You MUST have basic knowledge of sewing machine. We have four (4) machines at the shop for your use, but you will need to reserve it when you make your payment for class.

Heart & Home - 6 month Block of the Month Club

Forget your troubles, come and get happy.......We promise you a fabulous year of parties and snacks at the Quilting Barn. You will get recipes of the snacks that we have at the party, as well as enjoy fun and fellowship with other quilters. Each month are different projects, such as banners, placemats and tablerunners. This is a cool new club for quilters, and it's all about the fun part of quilting!!!
Starts Across America (Block of the month)
Come and learn how to make Eleanor Burns Stars Across American quilt.

On-Going Events
PMS (Pizza, Munchies and Sewing)
PMS will resume Friday, August 1, 2008. Make your plans to join us for Pizza, Munchies, and Sewing from 6:00 pm until midnight. Fee is $10.00 and includes pizza and drink. Bring any of your unfinished projects and enjoy several hours of uninterrupted sewing time. Notice! I said any of your projects because everyone has more than one going at a time, don't they?
Sign up sheets are available in the shop or on-line. PMS is the first Friday night of each month unless it falls on a holiday or holiday weekend.

FREE every Wednesday, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm (unless there is a scheduled class so make sure to check the calendar for times each week)
You are welcome to come and sew all day at your leisure. Although this event is free, pre-registration is required as classroom space is limited.
